Students whose grade is 25 or above and feel the written test grade does not reflect their actual preparation, can take an additional oral test. Grades will be published through the teaching portal on October 2nd and registered right afterwards.

 

Clarifications on the way the questions were answered are needed from the students (if any) whose ID is in bold face and the exam cannot be passed unless they come and talk to me during the exam discussion session. Students (if any) whose ID is italicized are not strictly required to have an additional discussion, but they are encouraged to do so as it might improve the evaluation of their exam.

  • Briefly describe the protocol solutions commonly deployed in the implementation of access VPNs, comparing their relative advantages and disadvantages and discussing the problems they aim to solve and how they do it.
  • Discuss the issues faced in the migration from IPv4 to IPv6, describe the general principles on which a smooth and gradual migration can be based, and present a specific protocol solution of your choice among the ones adopted as a standard approach.

  • Descrivere brevemente le soluzioni protocollari comunemente utilizzate per le VPN di accesso (access VPN) confrontandone vantaggi e svantaggi relativi, e discutendo i problemi che si prefiggono di risolvere e come.
